Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 May 2026

This privacy notice is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. It explains what personal data Moonlight Vals collects and how it is used, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

We collect the data you give us: your email address, your first and last name, and the birth data needed for a reading (birth date, time, and place, with the matching coordinates).

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the billing email, but we never receive or store your full card number.

Why we use it and on what basis

We use your data to prepare and deliver your reading and to answer your messages (performance of a contract), to send a newsletter only if you ask for it (consent), and to keep our service secure and working (legitimate interest).

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to meet our legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its use, and ask for a portable copy. You can also withdraw consent at any time without affecting past processing.

How to exercise your rights

Send your request through the contact page. We will respond within the time the law allows. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Who processes data for us

We rely on a small number of trusted providers: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), and OpenStreetMap / Nominatim (turning a place name into coordinates).

Our data is hosted on MongoDB infrastructure. Each provider handles only what it needs to perform its task.

Cookies

We use a few cookies and similar storage. The cookie policy explains each one and how to change your choices.
